It's amazing how...

peace replaces worry
grace invades
mercy is mine
sovereignty is His

Wednesday was a new day. After successfully completing my midterm, I was blessed with the most beautiful day... long, meaningful conversations, hill sprints, an intense rock climbing session, and hours of writing... writing a story that is marked by the Master's hand. A story of love, grace, redemption, healing, and God's faithfulness.

In the place of all my anxious thoughts, stress, and frustrations with who I'd become... God overwhelmed me. Daughter of His that I am, I feel confident in the arms of my Savior.

I received a glimpse of His character and loving abundance the other day.

It occurs to me that God is constantly wanting to remind us of His love for us. In praying for others and listening, I get the same message: "Tell them I love them." What? God... everyone knows you love them, why tell them? And why so often do you tell me to tell others you love them in such a specific way? As I was praying/meditating on this thought, the Holy Spirit reminded me that the story of Jesus is a story of love and He is constantly reminding His creation of His love. Of course God would say "tell them I love them." He is love. We so often forget that when we analyze our actions, behaviors, thoughts, etc... Do I live as a child who is loved? A child who is loved by the King and destined for freedom through Christ's blood? I get stuck on my imperfections so often when God calls me to be free. It is finished, He says. Live free.
